Terms

Last updated October 25, 2026

By using Settle you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose.

What Settle is

Settle helps you write estimates and invoices, send them from your own phone, and get paid through your own Stripe account. It's a tool. You're the contractor.

Your estimates are yours

AI drafts are suggestions. Prices, quantities, scope, taxes, licensing, permits and anything else on a document are your responsibility to check before you send it. Settle isn't liable for mistakes in a document you sent.

Payments

Payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms, on an account in your name. Settle never holds your money and can't issue refunds for your work. Disputes between you and your customer are between you and your customer.

Hosted pages

When you send a document we host a copy at a settlejob.com link so your customer can view, approve or pay. Don't send documents that are unlawful, misleading or not yours to send.

Subscriptions

Settle Pro is a subscription sold through the App Store. It renews until you cancel in your Apple ID settings. Free-trial and refund questions go through Apple.

Availability

We try to keep the service up, but it's provided as-is, without warranties. Our total liability to you for anything related to Settle is limited to what you paid us in the past 12 months.

Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll say so in the app.
